Agadir verstärkt seine Verbindungen mit den Kanaren


Agadir développe sa coopération avec les îles Canaries. La semaine dernière, la ville a reçu une importante délégation de la Chambre de commerce de Lanzarote de l’archipel canarien. La rencontre organisée en partenariat avec la Chambre de commerce d’Agadir et Proexca (société canarienne de promotion économique) a réuni des hommes d’affaires d’une quinzaine d’entreprises de différents secteurs. L’objectif de la visite était de découvrir sur le terrain les potentialités d’investissement dans la capitale du Souss et sa périphérie.


Si la coopération entre les îles Canaries remonte à plusieurs années, pour les représentants de la jeune Chambre de Lanzarote c’est le deuxième voyage à Agadir depuis le démarrage de la coopération entre les deux villes. Et déjà, il y a du concret dans l’air. Il se traduit par la mise en place d’une ligne maritime reliant Lanzarote à Agadir. Une liaison hebdomadaire qui se réalisera avec un paquebot d’une capacité de 1000 passagers, 70 camions et 200 voitures. En fait, le trajet sera Las Palmas/Lanzarote/Agadir. Et ainsi la circulation entre les trois villes, tant désirée par les opérateurs marocains et canariens, sera assurée.

Les retombées touristiques sur la destination d’Agadir sont également indéniables. En attendant, le premier voyage reliant les deux destinations est prévu pour le 19 juillet. Pour l’heure, la compagnie maritime canarienne initiatrice du projet est en discussion avec la Marine marchande.

Parallèlement à l’accompagnement de cette opération, les représentants de la Chambre de Lanzarote veulent véritablement avoir un pied à Agadir.

Aussi envisagent-ils de mettre en place un bureau de représentation dans la station balnéaire. Au programme également la participation dans les prochains mois à plusieurs manifestations économiques dans la capitale du Souss. Des missions commerciales à Lanzarote pour les hommes d’affaires gadiris sont elles aussi prévues.
