vor einiger Zeit ist mir eine CD in die Hände gefallen, die Marrakesch-Festival Aufnahmen von 1976 enthält. Folgender Text steht auf dem Paper:

"Each year, at the end of May, the Marrakech Festival brings together the best of Berber singers. To the rhythm of bendir and tissint, underlined by the sounds of the high flute, the voices rise, singing of legends, weddings, and promises of peace, or accompanying ecstatic dances. An ammount, recorded in 1976, of the exceptional beauty of the oral tradition of Berber songs."

Vielleicht kann jemand diese Fragen beantworten:
Um welche Instrumente handelt es sich bei bendir und tissint?
Gibt es das Festival immer noch und wenn ja, welche Bedeutung hat es?
Termine für 2003?
